The last quarter of the year is fast approaching and there remains plenty of cheap stocks to buy. There are many interesting cheap stocks, but in this article, we will focus on Walt Disney, United Parcel Service as well as Mastercard.
There is a reason to believe that Walt Disney’s share price will increase in the final months of 2021 and it could surpass $200. Cathie Wood bought more than 20,000 shares in a single week for various exchange-traded funds.
The optimism comes as the company’s theme parks and cruises once again factor into Walt Disney’s earnings. Its streaming service continues to add subscribers, albeit at a slower pace than during the height of the coronavirus pandemic.
The company’s “parks, experiences, and product” segment reported $4.34 billion in sales in the most recent quarter and an operating profit of $356 million.
The coronavirus pandemic is not over, and it has the potential to affect Disney and its operation. Still, its stock is an attractive buy at its current price. Hence, it is the first on the list of cheap stocks buy by the fourth quarter.
United Parcel Service or UPS stock would be a great pick-up leading into the last quarter of the year. The last quarter includes the busy holiday season, so it would not be surprising to see the stock rally in the final months of 2021.
While on the subject of interesting cheap stocks and fourth-quarter holiday sales, how about a credit card giant Mastercard?
The company’s stock largely traded sideways. That is not good news for the shareholders. But investors who are looking for a great financial stock to add to their portfolio should pay attention to MA stock.
Mastercard is clearly trying to grow into new areas while maintaining its credit card business. It acquired Danish financial technology company Aiia.
